Myers Park

Meyers Park

If you want to experience true Southern charm and elegance in the Charlotte Area, you will not want to miss Myers Park. Myers Park comes with the history of being home to the textile, banking and utility industry dating back to 1911. It is surrounded by Queens Road to the north; Providence Road to the east; Sharon Road to the south; and Park Road to the west. It boosts large pin oak trees along the streets with the mixture of grand mansion to charming bungalows each with the architecture style of Colonial Revival, American Craftsman and Tudor Revival. Great schools and lots of culture abound.

Charlotte Little Theatre is Charlotte’s only Art House Movie Theatre and the stately Duke Mansion. A hidden treasure in the area is a 98 acre park called Freedom Park. Some people refer to Freedom Park as a miniature Central Park in NYC. The park is the southern end of the Green Way that winds through downtown Charlotte. Plenty of tennis, basketball courts, and trails that follow a pond. Don’t miss the Nature Museum located just off the main trail down by the swan pond. Great playgrounds and open fields for kids, adults and your dogs.

Freedom Park is perfectly mapped out for everyone. It fulfills the needs of the community and their recreational appetite.
